Interstate State Park lies in Wisconsin and Minnesota and is bi-sected by the St. Croix River. I noticed this fern against the lichens and moss. Rather than show the entire fern I decided to show only a portion of it. Sometimes not showing all of a subject gives it more visual appeal. I find the green color in the picture to be very pleasing and calming.
