Interstate State Park lies in Wisconsin and Minnesota and is bi-sected by the St. Croix River. This photograph is about the wonderful color of the pine needles covering the forest floor. Light snow had fallen the day before and the white snow contrasts very nicely with the rusty brown color of the needles.
