Wild River State Park lies along the St. Croix River near Almelund, Minnesota. Most of the time getting close enough to wild creatures is the biggest roadblock to good wildlife pictures. This dragonfly was a real exception to that rule. It kept landing on my hand. Finally, after shaking it off a number of times it "posed" for me.
