Hoarfrost, south of Stillwater, MN, January 1999

I have never seen hoarfrost as thick as it was on this day. It was close to an inch thick on all the trees! An added bonus for my photography was that the wind never came up and blew it off the trees so I was able to photograph pretty much all day long.
